Patient safety and natural results are Dr. Yang’s primary goals and he is committed to obtaining the best result with each and every procedure he performs, always with your optimal outcome in mind. He operates with fully accredited anaesthetists to administer sedation or general anaesthesia at fully accredited surgery centres and hospital operating rooms to maximise your safety.

Dr. Yang completed a cleft lip and palate fellowship in Birmingham UK with further international training in Rhinoplasty (Europe) and Asian Cosmetic Surgery (South Korea). Since his return to Hamilton in 2017, he has embraced a role in improving Waikato’s regional cleft lip and palate service.

Dr. Yang is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Waikato Hospital and serves as the Clinical Lead for Midland Cleft Centre. He previously served as the Clinical Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery and currently holds the position of Supervisor of Plastic Surgery Training for the Waikato region.

If you’re considering cosmetic or reconstructive plastic surgery of any kind, being informed is a priority. Whether as a private or a public patient, Dr. Yang prides himself on his exceptional listening skills which ensure the right option is chosen for each individual patient.
